The L Tower Celebrates it’s topping-off on Wednesday. 

Saturday, October 6

  • Washroom Servicing 9:00 am to Noon.

Sunday, October 7

  • Aerobatic ballet rehearsal on the north face of the L Tower. No construction noise will be created by this activity.

Monday, October 8 – THANKSGIVING DAY

  • Aerobatic ballet rehearsal on the north face of the L Tower. No construction noise will be created by this activity. 

Tuesday, October 9

  • Delivery of elevator equipment from the Yonge Street gate. 
    • Please note:
    • There may be some short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while delivery trucks are unloaded.
    • To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.

Wednesday, October 10

  • L Tower Topping-Off Ceremony at 1:00 pm. 

Thursday, October 11

  • Hoist lift – three (3) floors.

Friday, October 12

  • TBD – please check back for updates. 

NOTES:

A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.

L Tower Construction Schedule September 8 – 14

Saturday, September 8

  • A delivery of 4 containers of window curtain wall, to arrive after 9:00 am. 

Monday, September 10 

  • A delivery of drywall studs starting at 8:00 am. 
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 10:00 am.
    • Please note:
        1. There will be short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while the steel delivery truck is being unloaded. 
        2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.
  • A 92M (cubic metre) part two (2), wall and column concrete pour, levels 58 – 59, starting at 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, September 11

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.
    • Please note:
        1. There will be short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while the steel delivery truck is being unloaded. 
        2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.

Wednesday, September 12

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 10:00 am.
    • Please note:
        1. There will be short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while the steel delivery truck is being unloaded. 
        2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.

Thursday, September 13

  • There will be a 12M (cubic metre) concrete pour starting at 2:00 pm, which is expected to be finished prior to 7:00 pm. 

Friday, September 14

  • There will be a rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A second rebar (steel) delivery will commence at at 12:30 pm.
    • Please note:
      1. There will be short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while the steel delivery truck is being unloaded.
      2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.
  • A delivery of a pressurization fan, starting at 9:00 am.

NOTES:

A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.

  • Cancelled due to rain: A 9M (cubic metre) column concrete pour, levels 57 – 58, starting at 12:30 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • Deliveries cancelled. 
Wednesday, September 5

  • Subcontractor Cooltech delivering HVAC components starting at 7:00 am. 
  • There will be a rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A second rebar (steel) delivery will commence at at 12:30 pm.
    • Please note:
      1. There will be short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while the steel delivery truck is being unloaded.
      2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.
  •  A 4M (cubic metre) column concrete pour, levels 57 – 58, starting at 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Thursday, September 6

  • 215M (cubic metre) slab concrete pour at level 58, starting at 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

  • A floating 12M slab concrete pour, at level 4, starting 9:30 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Monday, May 14

  • A 210M slab concrete pour, level 40, starting 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, May 15

  • Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.
  • A 101M (part 1) wall and column concrete pour, levels 40 – 41 starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, May 16

  • Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am
    • Minor disruptions to vehicular traffic may be expected. 
  • Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.
  • A 101M (part 2) wall and column concrete pour, levels 40 – 41, starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Thursday, May 17

  • The hoist will be climbed (raised) six floors (rescheduled from last week). 

Friday, May 18

  • A 220M slab concrete pour, level 41, starting 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

  • A 190M slab concrete pour, level 39, starting 10:00 am,, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, May 8

  • A 99M (part 1) wall and column concrete pour, levels 39 – 40 starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • The hoist will be raised three (3) floors, to stop at level 33.

Wednesday, May 9

  • Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.
  • A 108M (part 2) wall and column concrete pour, levels 39 – 40, starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
