This is the current construction schedule for 8 The Esplanade – L Tower – for September 17 – 21, 2012

Monday, September 17 

  • A delivery of heat pumps at 7:00 am. 
  • A second delivery of heat pumps at 10:00 am. 
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.
    • Please note:
          1. There may be some short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while delivery trucks are unloaded. 
          2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.

Tuesday, September 18

  • A delivery of drywall and metal studs starting at 8:00 am.
  • A second delivery of drywall and metal studs starting at 10:00 am.
    • Please note:
          1. There may be some short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while delivery trucks are unloaded. 
          2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.

Wednesday, September 19

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
    • Please note:
          1. There may be some short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while delivery trucks are unloaded. 
          2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.
  • A 215M (cubic metre) slab concrete pour at level 59, starting at 9:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Thursday, September 20

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
    • Please note:
          1. There may be some short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while delivery trucks are unloaded. 
          2. To ensure public safety pedestrian and cycling traffic may also be disrupted briefly during crane lifts and swings.
  • A 96M (cubic metre) part one (1), wall and column concrete pour, levels 59 – 60, starting at 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Friday, September 21

  • A 92M (cubic metre) part two (2), wall and column concrete pour, levels 59 – 60, starting at 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

NOTES:

A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.

L Tower Construction Schedule July 30 – August 3

This is the current construction schedule for 8 The Esplanade – L Tower – for   July 30 – August 3, 2012

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The 30 day road closure of The Esplanade from Scott Street to Yonge Street remains in effect this week
  • A shuttle bus service will be provided during the road closure running approximately every 12 – 15 minutes from 7 am to 7 pm daily, connecting The Esplanade and Scott Street to Union Station, Bay & Front, King & Yonge and Berczy Park.   

Monday, July 30

  • Yuanda delivery of three (3) containers of windows, starting at 7:00 am.
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A second rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm

Tuesday, July 31

  • Scheduled Construction Activities Rescheduled Due To Weather Conditions. 

Wednesday, August 1

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 10:00 am.
  • A 215M (cubic metre) slab concrete pour, at level 53, starting at 11:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Thursday, August 2 

  • Primo Mechanical delivery of Heat Pumps for levels 36 to 40, scheduled to begin at &;30 am and be completed by 11:00 am. 
  • A 96M (cubic metre) part one (1), wall and column concrete pour, levels 53 – 54, starting at 12:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.

Friday, August 3

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A 92M (cubic metre) part 2, wall and column concrete pour, levels 53 – 54, starting at 12:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • A second rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:30 pm.

Monday, May 21 – Victoria Day Holiday 

Tuesday, May 22

  • Heat Pump delivery starting at 7:30 am, with the estimated completion of the delivery at 11:00 am. 
    • Please note there may be some short-term disruptions to eastbound vehicular traffic.
    • Pedestrian traffic will remain open.
  • A 92M (part 1) wall and column concrete pour, levels 41 – 42 starting at Noon, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, May 23

  • A 96M (part 2) wall and column concrete pour, levels 41 – 42 starting at Noon, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Thursday, May 24

Friday, May 25

  • A 215M slab concrete pour, level 42, starting 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Saturday, May 26

  • Hoist maintenance will commence at 9:00 am and the estimated completion time for this work is 1:00 pm.

  • A 108M (part 2) wall and column concrete pour, levels 33 – 34, starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • Rebar delivery starting at 12:30 pm

Tuesday, April 3

  • Rebar delivery starting at 12:30 pm

Wednesday, April 4

  • Rebar delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A 190M slab concrete pour, level 34, starting 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • Rebar delivery starting at 12:30 pm.

Thursday, April 5

  • Heat Pump (for individual condo suites) delivery starting at 7:30 am.
  • A 99M (part 1) wall and column concrete pour, levels 34 – 35, starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
