This is a construction update for 8 The Esplanade – L Tower – for   July 28, 2012

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The 30 day road closure of The Esplanade from Scott Street to Yonge Street remains in effect this week
  • A shuttle bus service will be provided during the road closure running approximately every 12 – 15 minutes from 7 am to 7 pm daily, connecting The Esplanade and Scott Street to Union Station, Bay & Front, King & Yonge and Berczy Park.   

Saturday, July 28

  • Yuanda delivery of three (3) containers of windows, starting at 9;00 am.
  • The crane mast will be extended by two sections.

L Tower Construction Schedule April 16 – 21

This is the current construction schedule for 8 The Esplanade – L Tower – for April 16 – 21, 2012

Note: The L Tower is scheduled to reach 36 floors this week.

Monday, April 16

  • Rebar delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • Hoist extension commences at 8:00 am.
  • Rebar delivery starting at 12:30 pm.

Tuesday, April 17

  • A 190M slab concrete pour, level 36, starting 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, April 18

  • A 99M (part 1) wall and column concrete pour, levels 36 – 37 starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Thursday, April 19

  • A 108M (part 2) wall and column concrete pour, levels 36 – 37, starting 1:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Friday, April 20

  • Rebar delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • Rebar delivery starting at 12:30 pm.

Saturday, April 21

  • The L Tower’s further crane mast extension will commence at 9:00 am.

NOTES:

Construction schedules are dependent on weather conditions.

A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
