This is a construction update for Backstage Condominium, 1 The Esplanade, November 7 – 13, 2016
Backstage condo, podium limetsone cladding.
Some remaining finishing work is being completed at the top of the west side. Crews have started work at the top of the east side of the tower. Once that is complete, then they will come down the east face installing the remaining porcelain tile.
The metal caps on the 5th floor external podium area were completed last week. Work on the pool and preparation for landscaping continues this week.
Internal work on the amenity rooms is getting close to being finished. Panels are currently being installed on the 6th floor while the 5th floor wood wall panels were stained last week.
Pre-inspectors for the remaining unoccupied suites are underway in preparation for the Building Inspector to this week.

- Tower cladding installation and exterior work on the podium deck.
- Tiling, flooring and finishing work in amenity areas; finishing unoccupied suites.
Friday, November 11
- Tower cladding installation and exterior work on the podium deck.
- Tiling, flooring and finishing work in amenity areas; finishing unoccupied suites.
Saturday, November 12
- Interior and exterior work if necessary.
- On-site housekeeping work TBD.
Sunday, November 13
- Possible move-ins.
