This is a construction update for Backstage Condominium, 1 The Esplanade, September 26 – October 2, 2016
On the Backstage exterior, porcelain tile has reached 35th floor of the west face of the tower with the remaining tilling expected to be complete by the end of this week. Support brackets are almost complete on the east face of the tower.
The final round caulking for the limestone on the north podium face is in progress, but was slowed by wet weather last Friday. The Mast Climber on the north face of the podium is scheduled is to be removed this week. Finally, the pool on the podium deck is being prepped for tile; this work will be on-going for a few more weeks.

Interior work on the amenity spaces is focussed on:
- Installing wall finishes on the 5th floor
- Receiving and and installing gym equipment which is expected to arrive on Friday.
- Steam rooms in the amenity areas will be waterproofed this week
After inspections were completed, occupancy approval has been received for 27 of the unoccupied suites. Another round of approvals is expected within the next 2 weeks. New move-ins will be underway soon.
The 4th floor parking level is also expected to receive its approval for use in the coming two weeks.
