This is a construction update for Backstage Condominium, 1 The Esplanade, September 19 – 25, 2016
Progress on Backstage’s exterior reached some milestones this past week with porcelain cladding completed to the 32nd floor on the west side of the tower and supports for the porcelain cladding reached the 35th floor on the east face of the tower. This week porcelain should be completed on the west face and installation of the porcelain cladding is set to begin on the east. Limestone cladding is complete on the north face of the podium, as is stucco work on the south east face of the podium.
Finishing work on the interior amenity spaces is progressing, with the flooring completed on 6th floor and wall finishes in progress on 6th and 5th floors, cabinetry is set to begin being installed this week.
This week will see more of the finished but unoccupied suites inspected; as well there are some resident move-ins scheduled.

Friday, September 23
- Tower cladding installation and exterior work on the podium deck.
- Tiling, flooring and finishing work in amenity areas; finishing and inspections in unoccupied suites.
Work is still to come on the sidewalk pavers and landscaping along The Esplanade frontage at Backstage.
Saturday, September 24
- Interior and exterior work as necessary.
- On-site housekeeping work.
Sunday, September 25
- Possible move-ins.
