Backstage Construction Update – June 25 – July 1, 2016

This is a construction update for Backstage Condominium, 1 The Esplanade, June 25 – July 1, 2016

Exterior work at the backstage takes another step forward as a tower hoist or mast climber is being built on the east side of the tower in preparation for the installation of porcelain panels on the fins.  Porcelain tile installation continues on the west side of the tower and is now up to approx. the 7^th floor. Stucco work is underway and continues this week on the northeast side of the podium.

The outdoor amenity space on the podium deck is being waterproofed and its surface is being prepared for the installation of pavers and landscaping. 

Interior work this week sees the return of drywallers and related trades permitting work to resume in the unfinished amenity areas and the lower suites.

Residents have started parking on the first 3 levels that were opened up last week.
