Backstage Construction Update – December 5 – 11

This a construction update for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for December 5 – 11, 2015.

The Hoist (external construction elevator) will be completely removed by Tuesday. Installation of of patio doors and windows in the suites adjacent to the hoist will be completed this coming week. Installation of the insulating membrane on the north and east faces of the podium will continue this coming week. Please check back for updates during the coming week.

Saturday December 5

  • Interior suite work.
  • Housekeeping work on site

Monday December 7

  • Hoist removal (sectional removal of the external construction elevator).
  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
  • Work on the tower and podium exterior continues. 

Tuesday December 8

  • Hoist removal (sectional removal of the external construction elevator).
  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
  • Work on the podium exterior continues. 
  • Pouring concrete stairs on podium by means of a concrete pump.

Wednesday December 9

  • Delivery of limestone cladding for building exterior. 
  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
  • Work on the tower and podium exterior continues. 

Thursday December 10

  • Delivery of limestone cladding for building exterior. 
  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
  • Work on the tower and podium exterior continues. 

Friday December 11

  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
  • Work on the tower and podium exterior continues.
