This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for June 27 – July 3, 2015. 

NOTE: Aecon will be on The Esplanade Monday and Tuesday installing Bell services, some traffic disruptions and noise should be expected. Otherwise the focus at Backstage this week will continue to be on interiors all week.

  • Interior suite finishing all day.
  • Drywall deliveries in the afternoon, at the south side of The Esplanade, east of Scott Street.
  • Aecon will be on The Esplanade installing Bell services, some traffic disruptions and noise should be expected.

Tuesday, June 30

  • Aecon will be on The Esplanade installing Bell services, some traffic disruptions and noise should be expected. 
  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.

Wednesday, July 1 – Canada Day

  • SITE CLOSED for the national holiday. 

Thursday, July 2

  • Interior suite finishing all day.
  • Drywall deliveries in the afternoon, at the south side of The Esplanade, east of Scott Street.

Friday, July 3

  • Various trade deliveries all day, at the south side of The Esplanade, east of Scott Street
  • Interior suite finishing all day.

8 The Esplanade – L Tower Saturday, June 27 – July 3, 2015.

  • REMINDER: The L Tower crane remains in place to facilitate the lift and placement of the rooftop window washing crane assembly and will remain up through the summer. 

Sidewalk work continues on the north side of The Esplanade as granite pavers are installed and edges are finished:

Backstage Construction Schedule June 6-12, 2015

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for June 6 – 12, 2015. 

NOTE: Cable Control Systems was delayed last week and will now be on site this week on The Esplanade digging trenches to lay cable for Rogers to service Backstage. The cable work will temporarily disrupt traffic along The Esplanade. Cable Control Systems will be applying for any relevant permits.

Monday, June 8 

  • Cable Control Systems for Rogers will be digging trenches for incoming services for Backstage.
  • NOTE: The cable work will disrupt traffic along The Esplanade. Cable Control Systems will be applying for any relevant permits. 
  • Interior suite finishing all day.
  • Toro Aluminum will be delivering windows for the roof. Their truck will occupy the south curb lane on The Esplanade from 8:00 am to approximately 12:00 pm.
  • Drywall delivery from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Tuesday, June 9

  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.

Thursday, June 11

  • Interior suite finishing all day.
  • Toro Aluminum will be delivering windows for the roof. Their truck will occupy the south curb lane on The Esplanade from 8:00 am to approximately 12:00 pm.

Friday, June 12

  • Cooltech and Professional Carpentry deliveries after 7:00 am.
  • Interior suite work: drywall and finishing all day.

 NOTES:

    • All rebar deliveries are now complete.
    • A Paid Duty Police Officer may be on-site when required and when available to assist with traffic control, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. 
    • Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
    • There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete or delivery trucks are moved into position.
    • Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
