This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for May 23 – 29, 2015.
NOTICE: May 26, 27 & 28 the tower crane will be taken down from Backstage, The Esplanade will be closed to traffic from Yonge to the Novotel (east of Scott) from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. There will be no access to Scott Street from The Esplanade. Pedestrian access to Yonge Street will be closed while the crane is taken down. 5 Paid Duty Police Officers will be on site to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic. If and when safety permits, every effort will be made to permit pedestrian access to Yonge Street. However it is prudent to plan on having to use Front Street East during the crane removal work.

Saturday, May 23
- Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
- Site housekeeping work.
Monday, May 25
- Interior suite finishing all day.
- Tile delivery from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
- Drywall delivery from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Tuesday, May 26
- Dismantling tower crane, vehicular and pedestrian traffic on The Esplanade will be closed. There will be five (5) Paid Duty Police Officers on-site to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Road Closure Permit Hours 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
- NOTE: Pedestrian access to Yonge Street on The Esplanade will be closed or restricted. However, every effort will be made to permit pedestrian access through the site when and if it is safe to do.
- Interior suite work: drywall and finishing.
Wednesday, May 27

Friday, May 29
- Interior suite work: drywall and finishing all day.
- Kitchen delivery from 8:00 am to 10:00 am
- Toro Railing delivery from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
NOTES:
- All rebar deliveries are now complete.
- A Paid Duty Police Officer may be on-site when required and when available to assist with traffic control, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
- Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
- There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete or delivery trucks are moved into position.
- Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
