8 The Esplanade – L Tower Saturday, March 21 – 27, 2015.

• Crews are laying granite pavers for the new sidewalk in front of the L Tower at Yonge and The Esplanade.

• The City of Toronto is currently renovating and redesigning and rebuilding the north plaza and entrance way to the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. This work is separate from the Plaza project.

•  The Sony Centre Plaza is scheduled to be completed this year.

• The Esplanade remains closed to car traffic eastbound from Yonge. City of Toronto crews closed it last March 1 because of a water main break. City crews were back on site March 8 to conduct some work, causing neighbours to temporarily lose water service. We have no information as to when the work will be completed but we have flagged this for Deputy Mayor and Ward 28 Councillor McConnell’s office.

The Esplanade remains closed to car traffic by the City of Toronto at Yonge Street.

• Move-ins continue through the Yonge Street service entrance.
