Backstage Construction Schedule March 14 – 20, 2015

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for March 14 – 20, 2015. Protective platforms are coming down this Saturday and secondary slab and wall and column concrete pours continue through the week.

Saturday, March 14
- Subcontractor Italform will be removing three (3) protection platforms from the south side of the building, facing the railway corridor. Three (3) tractor trails will be required to transport.
- The first trailer will arrive at 11:00 am.
- The second trailer at 1:00 pm, and
- The third trailer at 2:00 pm.
- Most of the work will take place on the 5th floor podium and then loaded on to trailers.
Monday, March 16
- A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (14 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 1:30 pm.
Tuesday, March 17
- Secondary slab concrete pour #1, by subcontractor Italform, to begin today at 11:30 am.
- A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (9 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 1:30 pm.
- Concrete Finishing until 10:30 pm.
Wednesday, March 18
- Secondary slab concrete pour #2, by subcontractor Italform, to begin today at 11:30 am.
- A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (14 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 1:30 pm.
- Concrete Finishing until 10:30 pm.
Thursday, March 19
- A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (20 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 1:30 pm.
Friday, March 20 A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (12 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 1:30 pm.
NOTES:
- All rebar deliveries are now complete.
- A Paid Duty Police Officer may be on-site when required and when available to assist with traffic control, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
- Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
- There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
- Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
