8 The Esplanade – L Tower Saturday, February 28, 2015 – Saturday, March 7, 2015.

The Esplanade remains closed to car traffic eastbound from Yonge. City of Toronto crews closed it last Sunday because of a water main break. We have no information as to when the work will be completed but we have flagged this for Deputy Mayor McConnell’s office.

  • City of Toronto crews closed The Esplanade at Yonge to vehicle traffic last weekend because of a water main break. It remains closed. We have no information on when it will reopen. As noted above we have notified Deputy Mayor McConnell’s office and asked them to look into this.

LOOKING AHEAD: 

  • The Large Crane Tower was scheduled to remain in place over the winter and be removed in March, it now may not be removed until April.
  •  The Sony Centre Plaza is now scheduled to be completed by June 2015, prior to the Pan Am Games.
