Backstage Construction Schedule February 7 – 13, 2015

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for February 7 – 13, 2015.  

Note: Concrete pours for the 36th Floor slab, scheduled to begin last week, were cancelled due to severe weather. Winter worked it’s magic and the first pour was postponed again to Tuesday, February 10. Weather conditions may once again interrupt construction plans. Please check back for regular updates.

Saturday, February 7

• Subcontractor Italform will be assembling wall forms, starting at 9:00am.

Monday, February 9

• Rebar delivery starting at 7:00 am.

• CANCELLED 36^th Floor slab concrete pours #1, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:o0 am.

• CANCELLED After slab, wall & column pour (40 metres of concrete). 

• CANCELLED Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

Tuesday, February 10

• 36^th Floor slab concrete pour #1, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.

• After slab, wall & column pour (53 metres of concrete). 

• Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

Wednesday, February 11

• 36^th Floor slab concrete pour #2, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.

• After slab, wall & column pour (50 metres of concrete). 

• Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

Thursday, February 12

• Rebar delivery, scheduled to begin at 7:00 am.

• Work cancelled due to extreme cold: 36^th Floor slab concrete pour #3, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.

• Work cancelled due to extreme cold: After slab, wall & column pour (50 metres of concrete). 

• Work cancelled due to extreme cold: Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

Friday, February 13

• Work cancelled due to extreme cold. 

Too cold for concrete at the Backstage construction site.

 NOTES:

• A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily, when available, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control when required. 
• Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
• There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
• Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
