This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for February 28 – March 7, 2015.
Concrete pours for the ROOF slab were not able to begin last week. The first roof slab concrete pour work is now slated to begin this Tuesday. We have included some photos below from our visit today to the podium roof deck, 8th and 13th floors.
Extreme weather may once again affect the construction schedule. Please check back for regular updates.

Saturday, February 28
- Subcontractors will be delivering two floors of windows, occupying North curb lane of the Esplanade from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday, March 2
- Subcontractor Italform will be forming the main roof area in preparation for pouring concrete.
Tuesday, March 3
- Rebar delivery scheduled to run from 7:00 am.
- ROOF slab concrete pour #1, by subcontractor Italform, to begin today at 8:00 am.
- Concrete Finishing until 11:00 pm.
Wednesday, March 4
- A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (35 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 12:30 pm.
Thursday, March 5
- ROOF slab concrete pour #2, by subcontractor Italform, to begin today at 10:30 am.
- Concrete Finishing until 11:30 pm.
Friday, March 6
- A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (35 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 12:30 pm.
Saturday, March 7 – UPDATED
- Cancelled — ROOF slab concrete pour #3, hase been rescheduled to March 10.
- Subcontractors will be delivering two floors of windows, occupying North curb lane of the Esplanade from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
NOTES:
- A Paid Duty Police Officer may be on-site when required and when available to assist with traffic control, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.
- Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
- There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
- Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
