Backstage Construction Schedule January 31 – February 6, 2015

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade, Backstage condominium – for January 31 – February 6, 2015.  

Note: Concrete for the 36th Floor slab is scheduled to begin Wednesday, February 4. However, depending on the severity of the weather, concrete pours noted here may be cancelled and rescheduled. Please check back for regular updates.

Saturday, January 31, 2015

  • Raising the tower crane three floors, starting at 9:00am.

Monday, February 2

  • Rebar delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (53 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 12:30 pm.

Tuesday, February 3

  • A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (43 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 12:30 pm.

Wednesday, February 4

  • 36th Floor slab concrete pours #1, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:o0 am.
  • After slab, wall & column pour (40 metres of concrete). 
  • Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

ThursdayFebruary 5

  • Rebar delivery, scheduled to begin at 7:00 am.
  • 36th Floor slab concrete pours #2, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.
  • After slab, wall & column pour (53 metres of concrete). 
  • Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

Friday, February 6

  • 36th Floor slab concrete pours #3, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.
  • After slab, wall & column pour (50 metres of concrete). 
  • Concrete Finishing until to 11:30 pm.

 NOTES:

    • Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily, when available, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control when required. 
    • Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
    • There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
    • Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
