Backstage Construction Schedule November 17 – 21

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for November 17 – 21, 2014.

Monday, November 17

  • The Esplanade will be closed during the day to eastbound vehicle traffic by contractor Distinct Tech. They will be installing conduits for fibre-optic cable for Beanfield Metroconnect.
    • Please note: Beanfield Metroconnect schedules their own work and is responsible for relevant permits and did not advise on-site construction managers of the scheduling of this work prior to late Friday, November 14. 
  • CANCELLED – 27thFloor slab concrete pour #3, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
  • Cancelled – Concrete Finishing until to 10:30 pm.

Tuesday, November 18

  • Rebar delivery, scheduled to begin at 7:00 am.
  • CANCELLED – A wall and column concrete pour, by subcontractor Italform (45 metres of concrete), scheduled to run from 12:30 pm.

Wednesday, November 19

  • 27th Floor slab concrete pour #3, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
  • An after-slab wall and column concrete pour (33 metres of concrete) to begin following the main slab pour till 8:30 pm.
  • Concrete Finishing until to 10:30 pm.

ThursdayNovember 20

  • Rebar delivery from 7:00 am.
  • 28thFloor slab concrete pour 1, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
  • An after-slab wall and column concrete pour (42 metres of concrete) to begin following the main slab pour.
  • Concrete Finishing until to 10:30 pm.

Friday, November 21

  • 28th Floor slab concrete pour #2, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
  • An after-slab wall and column concrete pour (42 metres of concrete) to begin following the main slab pour.
  • Concrete Finishing until to 10:30 pm.

 NOTES:

    • Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
    • Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
    • There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
    • Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
