Concrete delivery was delayed today, causing the 15th floor concrete slab pour to be run late, and therefore delaying the large crane work.

Backstage protective platform complete

The work to install the protective platform around the tower section of Backstage was  conducted on Friday, August 22, Saturday, August 23 and has been completed today.

We note that on Saturday, August 23 at 6:43 pm there were technical difficulties encountered when the final piece of protective platform was being put into place. This unfortunately meant that work had to continue for approximately 20 minutes past 7:00 pm. It would have been extremely dangerous to have left the platform section hanging, so work had to continue until it was properly secured and in place.
