Backstage Construction Schedule – May 31 – June 6

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for May 31 – June 6, 2014.

First floor of the Backstage condo’s tower section.

Saturday, May 31

• Clean-up and minor construction activities on site on site from 9:00 am to 1 pm

Monday, June 2

• 6th floor concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to run between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

 Tuesday, June 3

• Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am

• 6th floor concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to run between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Wednesday, June 4

• 6th floor concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to run between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Thursday, June 5 – Friday June 6

• Moving the mobile crane.

• PLEASE NOTE: The Esplanade will be closed to vehicular traffic from Yonge Street to the west TPA Lot entrance on the south and Scott Street on the north, while the crane work is conducted. Paid-Duty police officers will be on-site during the work. 

NOTES:

• A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
• Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
• There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
• Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
