Backstage Construction Schedule – April 5 – 11

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for April 7 – 11, 2014.

 Saturday, April 5

• No work scheduled.

Monday, April 7

• Putting a generator and related electrical equipment in place for the mobile crane. Work ongoing from 7:00 am.

• There will be temporary lane closures, approximately 1 to 2 hours, on the eastbound traffic lane, Yonge to the west Toronto Parking Authority Driveway. 

 Tuesday, April 8

• Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.

• 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, April 9

• 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

Thursday, April 10

• Fourth floor slab concrete pour #9, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.

• After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform.

• Concrete Finishing to 10:00 pm.

Friday, April 11

• Fourth floor slab concrete pour #10, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 9:00 am.

• After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform.

• Concrete Finishing to 10:00 pm.

NOTES:

• A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
• Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
• There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
• Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
