This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for  March 3 – 7, 2014.

Podium poured into place at the Backstage Condominium

 Monday, March 3

• 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

 Tuesday, March 4

• Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.

• Fourth floor slab concrete pour #2, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
• After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform.
• Concrete Finishing to 10:00 pm.

Wednesday, March 5

• ADDED:
  • Link Line the contractor for Enbridge will be on site to install natural gas service to the Backstage condo. There will be a substantial impacts to eastbound vehicular traffic on The Esplanade between Younge and Scott Street for most of the day.
  • Pedestrian traffic should be unaffected.
  • The construction management team apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thursday, March 6

• 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

Friday, March 7

• Rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
• ADDED:
  • Fourth floor slab concrete pour #2 part 2, by subcontractor Italform, scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
  • After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform.
  • Concrete Finishing to 10:00 pm.

• CANCELLED:  50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

NOTES:

• A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
• Concrete pour schedules and times are subject to weather conditions.
• There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
• Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.
