  • Some deliveries to the hoist and interior work.

Friday, December 20

  • Some deliveries to the hoist and interior work.

Please note:

  • There may be some short-term disruptions to vehicular traffic while delivery trucks are moved into position and unloaded.
  • A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site Thursday & Friday this week, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.

Ice Clearing today at the L Tower

Please be advised that the site crew at the L Tower had to come into work today to clear ice that otherwise could have posed a danger to the site crew, pedestrians and vehicles. Every effort has been and is continuing to be made to ensure this is done safely.

 As an “act of god” some ice appears to have gone accidentally astray during the deicing process. We have been advised that some ice may have accidentally broken a window at 25 The Esplanade. Dominus Construction staff have been in touch with the Property Manager at 25 The Esplanade and have offered to cover the cost of any repairs that may be required.
Again the efforts to clear ice from the L Tower site were absolutely necessary to ensure staff and public safety. Continuing efforts are underway to ensure the safe removal of the remaining ice.

  • Second floor slab pour, by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am.
  • After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. This pour is scheduled to begin after the slab pour is completed. 
  • Concrete finishing, scheduled to proceed until 9:00 PM.

Tuesday, December 17

  • There will be some minimal construction activity on site during the day.

  • There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
  • Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.

  • Air compressors & concrete breakers will be in use on the south edge of the site. The work is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am and should be completed by 2:oo pm.

Monday, December 16

  • There will be a rebar delivery at 7:00 am. 
  • 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italfor. The pour is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, December 17

  • 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italfor. The pour is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, December 18

  • There will be a rebar delivery at 7:00 am. 
  • 50 cubic metre, wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italfor. The pour is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm and should be completed before 7:00 pm.

Thursday, December 19

  • Second floor slab pour # 8, part 1, by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
  • After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. This pour is scheduled to begin after the slab pour is completed. 
  • Concrete finishing, scheduled to proceed until 10:00 PM.

  • Labourers will be on-site chipping concrete . The work is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am and should be completed by midday.

  • There will be a rebar delivery at 10:00 am. 
  • Second floor slab pour, by subcontractor Italform. The pour is scheduled to begin after 10:00 am.
  • After slab, 50 cubic metre wall and column concrete pour by subcontractor Italform. This pour is scheduled to begin after the slab pour is completed. 
  • Concrete finishing, scheduled to proceed until 8:00 PM.
