Update – Backstage Construction Schedule – March 28 – 30

This is an update to the construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for  March 28 – 30, 2013

UPDATED March 28, 2013

Thursday, March 28 

• GFL Excavating will be using the hydraulic breaker to prepare the footings; the footings will then be dug out.

• The long reach will be used to take material out from the site; 3 dump trucks will be taking approximately 10 loads each, for an estimated total of 30 loads. 

• A wall and footings concrete pour by subcontractor Italform, 50 cubic metres of concrete. The pour will be completed prior to 7:00 pm.
• Installation of new hoardings and covered walkway on The Esplanade.

Friday, March 29 – GOOD FRIDAY – Holiday

Saturday, March 30

• Dominus will be doing clean up work on-site.

• The long reach will be removed from the site. There may be some short-term interruptions to traffic access through the site during this process.

NOTES:

• A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
• There may be some short-term impacts on traffic flow as concrete trucks are moved into position.
• Concrete trucks must keep their engines running during the pouring process.

Backstage Construction Schedule – March 23 – 29

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for  March 23 – 29, 2013

Saturday, March 23

• Dominus will be doing clean up work on-site.
  

Monday, March 25

• Dominus will receive gravel for the slab on the lowest grade base. Two dump trucks will be working throughout the day approximately 10 loads of  gravel.

• GFL Excavating will be using the hydraulic breaker to prepare the footings; the footings will then be dug out.

• A wall and footings concrete pour by subcontractor Italform, 50 cubic metres of concrete. The pour will be completed prior to 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, March 26

• GFL Excavating will be using the Long Reach to remove material, there will be 3 dump trucks taking up to 14 loads each for an estimated total of 42 loads.

• GFL Excavating will be using the hydraulic breaker to prepare the footings; the footings will then be dug out.

• A wall and footings concrete pour by subcontractor Italform, 50 cubic metres of concrete. The pour will be completed prior to 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, March 27

• GFL Excavating will be using the Long Reach to remove material, there will be 4 dump trucks taking up to 12 loads each for an estimated total of 48 loads.

• GFL Excavating will be using the hydraulic breaker to prepare the footings; the footings will then be dug out.

• A wall and footings concrete pour by subcontractor Italform, at levels P6 and P5. The pour will be completed prior to 7:00 pm.
