Backstage Construction Schedule – October 22 – 26

This is the current construction schedule for 1 The Esplanade – L Tower parking and Backstage condominium – for October 22 – 26, 2012

Please note efforts are being made to ensure pedestrian safety as dump trucks access the site. Traffic control staff are on site and safety cones will be placed on the sidewalk and roadway to indicate the pedestrian route through the work zone. Starting November 9, a new alignment of the vehicular and pedestrian routes will be put in place, providing enhanced safety. More information will be provided next week. 

Monday, October 22 

• Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be removing material from the site: six (6) dump trucks will take fourteen (14) loads each, for a total of eighty-four (84) loads. The last dump truck loads are scheduled between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm.

• Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be breaking shale with hydraulic breaker from approximately 2:30 pm until no later than 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, October 23

• Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be removing material from the site: six (6) dump trucks will take fourteen (14) loads each, for a total of eighty-four (84) loads. The last dump truck loads are scheduled between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm.

Thursday, October 25

• Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be breaking shale with hydraulic breaker from all day between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.

Friday, October 26

• Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be breaking shale with hydraulic breaker from all day between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.

NOTES: 

* Dump truck frequencies are dependent on road and traffic conditions and the amount excavation materials at any given time on the site.

Construction activities are dependent on whether.

A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site   daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.
