This is the current construction schedule for 8 The Esplanade – L Tower – for   July 3 – 7, 2012

NOTE:

  • The L Tower is scheduled to reach 49 floors this week.

Tuesday, July 3

  • Yuanda window delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A 92M (cubic metre) part 1, wall and column concrete pour, levels 48 – 49, starting at 12:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, July 4

  • Yuanda window delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A hoist jump is scheduled for today
  • A 96M (cubic metre) part 2, wall and column concrete pour, levels 48 – 49, starting at 12:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:00.

Thursday, July 5

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 7:00 am.
  • A second rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:00 pm.

Friday, July 6

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 10:00 am.
  • A 215M (cubic metre) slab concrete pour, at level 49, starting at 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.

NOTES:

Construction schedules are dependent on weather conditions.

A Paid Duty Police Officer is on-site daily Tuesday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to assist with traffic control.

APOLOGY: Alarm Disturbance Monday night.

The construction management team wishes to apologize for the disturbance caused by the loud alarm that rang last night, Monday, June 25.

There was a short circuit on the excavator, which turned the machines horn on and would not shut off.

Upon investigation the only way to stop the noise was to disconnect the electrical supply.

The excavator operator came as soon as possible last night to disconnect the power as he was the only one with the key to the machine.

A mechanic is on site this morning on correct the problem. The construction management team aplogizes for the inconvenience and irritation.

  • Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be removing material from the site: three (3) dump trucks will take 10 loads each, for a total of thirty (30) loads.
  • Subcontractor, Deep Foundation installing tie backs.

Tuesday, June 26

  • Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be removing material from the site: three (3) dump trucks will take 10 loads each, for a total of thirty (30) loads.
  • Subcontractor, Deep Foundation installing tie backs.

Wednesday, June 27

  • Subcontractor, GFL Excavating will be removing material from the site: three (3) dump trucks will take 10 loads each, for a total of thirty (30) loads.

Monday, June 25

  • A 210M (cubic metre) slab concrete pour, at level 47, starting at 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:00.

Tuesday, June 26

  • A 92M (cubic metre) part 1, wall and column concrete pour, levels 47 – 48, starting at 12:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • TORSTEEL delivery of handrails
    • Please note that eastbound vehicular traffic may be interrupted during these deliveries.
    • Pedestrian traffic will remain open

Wednesday, June 27

  • A 96M (cubic metre) part 2, wall and column concrete pour, levels 47 – 48, starting at 12:00 pm, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
  • Citywide  to deliver door frames today.
  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:00.

Thursday, June 28

  • A rebar (steel) delivery starting at 10:00 am.
  • A second rebar (steel) delivery starting at 12:00 pm.
  • UCEL will raise the hoist cables today.

Friday, June 29

  • A 210M (cubic metre) slab concrete pour, at level 48, starting at 10:00 am, which is not expected to extend beyond 7:00 pm.
