Silo Installation July 14

On Thursday July 14th a storage silo will be delivered to the L Tower site.

The previously planned 3-hour Temporary Street Occupation is no longer required for the silo installation.

The silo will be used to store ready made (delivered to site) masonry mortar for block work.

The silo will eliminate the need for weekly deliveries of sand, skids of bagged masonry cement and also eliminate the need for an on site mortar mixing machine.

The silo will arrive on a flat bed truck. There will be a need to close the lanes to manoeuvre it in place.

The silo will remain on site till the late summer or early fall of 2012 when the form work is expected to be completed.
